In My Mailbox -53- (And a winner!)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren every Sunday. In My Mailbox is a weekly meme that lets everyone see what books you have received or bought that week.

It's been a fun week around here, what with all of the snow. Okay, maybe not so much, but it looks pretty outside now.... :) I didn't think anything would come in the mail, so I was pleasantly surprised when some books did make it through.
For Review
1. 12.21.12 - Killian McRae
2. Progeny - R.T. Kaelin
3. My Superhero Sister - Toni LoTempio (e-book, not pictured)

Many thanks goes to Killian McRae, R.T. Kaelin, and Toni LoTempio for sending me the books I received this week for review.

Bought
1. Unseen - Rachel Caine

I read the "Sweep" series as a teen, but once I saw that they were coming out in the bind-ups I had to add them to my collection. I remember loving this series when I first read it and can't wait to re-read it.

All of the books are linked to their goodreads profiles. :)

Artemis the Brave Winner

Just a quick note to say that the results are in and the winner of the Goddess Girls book, Artemis the Brave, is none other than:

Robin

Congratulations, Robin! I hope you enjoy the book! Thank you everyone who participated in the giveaway. :)

Along with the giveaway there was a quiz... and I found it intriguing that the majority of you stated that you were most like Athena or Persephone. Athena won out by one vote. Only one person said they were like Artemis, and no one said they were like Aphrodite
Don't know what I'm talking about? You can check out the post and take the Goddess Girl quiz here. If you do check out the quiz, feel free to leave your answer in the comments section. ;)

I'll leave you with a picture of my pal, Sunny. He decided to lay down and fall asleep on my 'scrap pile' of page-a-day pages from my old calendars, so I incorporated him into the pile. :) What a cutie, eh?
Yes. I'm one of those people who gets a page-a-day calendar and is good at ripping off the page every day for about 30 days then becomes lazy decides to quit. I really liked going through  the calendars though and figuring out the answers. I found one calendar was from 2009 (eep!), and the other one was about those who are left-handed (2010). It had some interesting content and I am surprised at the amount of actors, actresses, sports players, politicians, presidents, writers, artists, and scientists who are, or were, left-handed!

So, today I leave you with this parting question... which is your dominant hand, and what did you get in your mailbox this week?

Great books. I really like the covers for Cate Tiernans books. I have the black version of the series but these books look nicer.

I love how your cat is sound asleep even with the paper blanket on haha.

Hmm. Dominant hand would be my right one, but I tend to do alot with my left except write,

I've seen the covers of the Sweep books but haven't read them. Hope they're as good on re-read as originally. Unseen isn't a Morganville Vamp book, is it?

I can't wait to see what you think of Unseen, I haven't read any of Rachel Caine's adult series but I love her Morganville vampire books. I have 12.21.12 as well and am looking forward to your thoughts on it!

You know, I didn't know that the Sweep series by Cate Tiernan had been reprinted until recently! I have to say that it looks great... I've only read the first one though. I'm still waiting to get the rest. Happy reading.

Awww...your cat's adorable! :)

I've never read any of Rachel Caine's adult books, though I've been working my way through her YA series, The Morganville Vampires.

Hope you enjoy reading all of your books!
