Hi, I'm Corrine, the voice behind Lost For Words. I'm not usually good with "About Me's" so I'll try to keep this short and sweet.
I fell in love with the written word as soon as I could pick up a book and read. Since then I have been known to haunt my local library. I also ended up working one of my first jobs as a library page which furthered my love of reading and showed me a whole new world of books.
I currently divide my time between working at an animal clinic, and at a book store. I absolutely love both jobs and the challenges they both provide. I enjoy reading and recommending the books I love, and I love bringing readers and books together. You never know what book will end up being your next favourite read, and I love being able to help bring books and readers together. If you happen to find me in the store I work at, let me know, I am more than willing to chat books!

This brings me to why I started up Lost For Words. I wanted to keep track of all of the books I had read, and thought what better way to keep track than to blog about them. I played around with the idea for several years, and finally, in December 2009, I penned my first review for Lost For Words. I have a variety of interests, and review titles for most genres. I specifically blog about Urban Fantasy, Fantasy, Mystery, Thrillers, Paranormal Romance, Adult Fiction, Young Adult, and Middle Grade fiction. I have also been known to throw in some non-fiction books as well. Whatever captures my interest gets read and reviewed. I review every book I read, and right now, I have entirely way too many books begging to be read.
I like to promote authors that I read through blog tours, author interviews, guest posts and giveaways. I was part of the team over at the Teen {Book} Scene and helped put tours together before my blogging hiatus. If you are a young adult author looking for a promotional tour for your book, don't hesitate to contact me.
If you are still with me, feel free to hop on over to my Author Extras page to browse through the various posts. You will find excerpts, original work, character interviews, guest posts, and fun facts available for your reading enjoyment. If you want to head straight to the reviews, my Review page has all of my reviews listed alphabetically by author last name.
Thank you for reading my 'about me'. I hope you decide to stick around.
