Lost...

It's the first week of June, just 4 weeks until we head down to Gatlinburg, TN. It's going to be great. We're hoping to go more into the mountains this time, and actually do a bit of hiking... or walking at least through the national parks around the area. Hopefully we'll get to see a bear or two this time. With my sense of direction, we may not make it back, but then, that area is so peaceful and beautiful.
As for right now, we took Skye in for her vaccines today. She was desperate to get away, but she was oddly fine with the actual needle. As Murphy's law dictates, the one cat we bring along as moral support, is the one who decides to do the dirty deed in the carrier, then proceeds to lay in it, while Skye looks on, completely at ease.
The comment about "what are you wearing, a cat fur coat?" was strangely hilarious as I happened to be grey for the visit to the vets, not the customary red.
Next week shall be interesting. I hope all goes well with Skye's surgery.
Now I'm just talking with D, and getting ready for bed.
